According to a recent disciplinary proceeding with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), Glenn McDowell allegedly executed at least 38 unauthorized transactions in a customer’s account without obtaining the customer’s authorization. For this, McDowell earned $5,300 in commissions. The transactions included selling shares of Synergy Pharmaceuticals, Zynga Inc., Cardtronics Inc., Ventrus Biosciences, and Vringo Inc., among others. This is against securities rules and regulations.
