Stoltmann Law Offices is investigating William Quigley, the former Chief Compliance Officer of Trident Partners Inc. Mr. Quigley allegedly diverted money from overseas investors to his family in the Philippines. He was also criminally indicted for wire fraud and money laundering for the same conduct. He was barred from the industry by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The SEC claimed that Quigley told investors to invest in legitimate companies like Dell, Berkshire Hathaway and Blackrock Inc. He then took the money and gave it to his brother. In March 2016, he was sentenced to six months in prison for his scheme. This is against securities laws.
Quigley was registered with Quick & Reilly, Fleet Securities, Benjamin Securities, Ladenburg Capital Management, Win Capital Corp, Joseph Stevens & Co., Trident Partners in Woodbury, New York from June 2004 until September 2005, and Trident Partners in Woodbury from October 2007 until September 2014. He has three customer disputes against him, one of which is pending. He has one criminal final disposition against him. He has been permanently barred from the industry.
